I left work (London) at 4 o clock....I got home (stevenage) at ten past 8
Apart from a fucked up train journey, it took me 2 hours to drive 2 miles, thanks to the idiots who:
a) Cant handle their car
b) decide to either abandon or break down and just leave the fucker in the missle of the road
c) panic and dont know what to do.
Oh well I guess I got my wish....got to be worth "working from home" tomorrow

TBH the driving conditions were very bad since the cold ground and very cold temps caused a ice rink type effect with snow freezing very quickly.

Well down on the tip of sussex- this side of Brighton any way - it's a tad pathetic on the snow front.

Listening to the radio this morning it seems the country's in an utter shambles.
There's people ringing radio stations saying they left work yesterday and STILL haven't got home! WTF??? That was just a few hours ago so let's hope they're being a little luckier now.
Bummer for me cos my trains were running fine...for once.
So I got to work and everyone who can't make it in was ringing me up asking em to do "urgent" stuff for them. :/
All the snow that didn't go before the night time has frzoen into sheets of ice on the pavements around london so I nearly broke my neck walking to work (cos the shitty tubes are all out of action.)
