US population is bordeing on the 16k mark, while EU is ahead at 18k. Looks like it has been like this for a week or so

What does it mean for the game, if EU constantly out performs the US population, Will Mythic decide to bite the bullet with Daoc (this time next year) or will they just develop for the EU market.

Last fridays Grab Bag did have an Euro question in it for a change, looks like mytic are keeping an eye of the global population, but i wonder what are they going to do about it.

Do Mythic get any money from GoA subs, or is it a case of GoA bought the license, and they keep all subs in europe. If that is the case and Mythic are not making much money from europe, then why bother to develop for it etc.

Would be interesting if they merged US and EU together, not servers but companies, probs have access to both sides servers to play on and be all on same patch.

Players on at most times, US when we're asleepie, and EU when US sleepie?

Must admit if the populations on both EU and US servers keep dropping I'll probably call it a day soon for DAOC. I played it since beta in US but I don't see the point in it if neither Mythic or GOA can be arsed doing something about it.

This game made Mythic, you'd think they'd try and sort out it's problems rather than adding to them.

The ability to give more feedback on the future of the game would be nice. European servers host half the playerbase, however Mythic seems to be way too US-centric. Future development should take EU players thoughts and considerations into account a bit more, instead of just catering for the US market.

A typical example is the team leader program. Various US players have the opportunity to give their opinions to Mythic on the state of the game, EU players are forced to use the feedback form and remain ignored.

Which will Flop imo, but hey they taken over the helm at Warhammer, hopeful they should keep the original concept the same.

think it has more to do with there contractal aggreement with Games workshop for Warhammer online. Think GW wanted a dedicated EU site if they wanted the rights to develop it.

After all GW is a UK company not US, so why should it be hosted in the states for EU players
