Ok, when you albs were charging crim, and i was resting up to get inside, this orange alb minstrel comes and dd dd stun me, and then hits me, then i do my ole "quickcast mez" and get away. But then, my damn cc comes and breaks the fricken mez and with me at 1/10 health and a minstrel with dd shouts ready.. rake a guess..

Why cant they make guards not break mez? I know, this was the first and hopefully last time this will ever happen to me, but it SUCKS!

Hiya Niljindil , to be honest i knew it'd be 75 % to get toast if i'd attack U (saw ur luri friend) but my hatred again hib casters is so high (see Krane's post on paralyze) that i couldn't miss that opportunity

Btw do U remember the time when a lone ministrel attacked U in emain and all of the sudden went beserk going forward / backwards (that was me and my lag spikes) ...so u see u aleady got me once

So to be on topic, its understandable if dumb NPC's breaks ur mezz. What's really annoying is when a fellow grp/realm m8 does it....



PS Wait till i get to use my Lava forged U wouldn't even come close to use that quickcast of urs ..;D

How dare U whine about ministrels! Its quite hard to get a kill especially in hostile lands where patrolls/enemies lurk at every step....what if i can get to shot two arrows from 2 miles away?

At least with ministrels U HAVE a slim chance of turning the tides but when i get paralyzed i have NO chance of escaping 2-3 dds and i am dead, i am a rogue ffs not a skald.

Skald insta mezz ???? i wish i had insta mezz then U d really have smth to whine about, but try to change 3 quickbars just to get a kill,. even change instruments with ur inventory open..4 heal song jeeze no wonder in early days of Daoc no one would play a ministrel...
So.. 2 arrows= 10 secs at max
A ministrel kill > 30 sec

U do the maths, Sherlock


And for God sakes walk in groups, dont go solo if U dont want ministrels by ur side

Please, its a game, its balanced enough, if you dont like it then stop playing or send mythic a letter where you calmly explain them their errors. All the whining and negativity just makes the experience less fun for everyone.

The game isnt about tweeking your powerleveled minstrel to do 0.89 extra damage on average to a level 49 at 50. Its about FUN, not about ACHIVEMENT. If you use a game like this as an outlet for youre desire to achive, then that is truly sad.

Think about the fun moments, like when the 3 of you pulled 9 grovewoods and lived, or the first time you got smacked in the face by a firebolt (damn thats some cool graphics) or the time you ran into a purple con enemy that waved to you and let you go.

If the fact that your class got its damage output reduced by 5% in the next patch overshadow this, then byebye, better for all of us if you just quit.

No, thats not what the forums are for. the forums are there to make a comunity. comunities dont tend to grow all large and friendly when everyone hates their only common nominator. people that complain (or as you put it, piss all over everyone else) in the forums are the exact same people that whine when they play.

Finding it hillarious that minstrels whine on hib casters, especially stun. We got 9sec stun with 2sec castingtime and a mez with 3sec casting time. You have a 6sec INSTANT stun and a mez that to me sure seems longer than 29seconds - and you can cast these abilities directly from leaving stealth. If you smart enough to get decent stealth you, and nobody else CHOOSE which hib casters you fight. If you manage to get stunned by a hib caster unawares, you surely suck at playing your class. Attacking a lev48-50 caster can be dangerous if they have resists/buffs+mez but bring another minstrel/infiltrator or one of all those sissy scouts and you can take out any 2enemies regardless of class - you are an overpowered class, underpowered. Quickbars pfft. (out of subject but how selfish and pathetic it is becoming with all these archers shooting people from behind while they let others do the fighting for them, especially those who play ungrouped.)
