I think it will work if you send GoA a mail from ur new e-mail.
Just send em ur old subs, your game password and your cd-key.. thats should be proof enough that its really you.

Well it would certainly verify you as being:

a) the owner of the account
b) Some bloke who intercepted the unsecure e-mails
c) the hacker who copied the whole player database.

If you read the news, you will see that game passwords will be changed first - then sub passwords a few days later.

So... why not just log in with your existing sub password - change your email to the correct address, then request a new game password.


Assuming they re-open subscriptions section before changing the sub passwords.

It is perfectly possible to change your email address - done it myself a few times - just that the current one is not up to date (doh!)

Problem is more the sequence in which they do this - I suspect the option to get in to change the email address before they reset either password(s) isn't going to happen..

And then we'll be quite royally stuffed.....
