Happy with the changes?

I am,i just love that side chain damage increase and snare on it(497+164 cap with it ).Dirt tricks is nicer too,7mins is lovely,we always been waiting for that and they made it less resistant it seems,the bleed damage on dual shadows is great too,even on purple mobs you can manage 25 a tick.Also that flurry gfx is nice
Dark tendrils is off parry now and has a lovely bleed too.Heh and the weaponskill you can get now is just insane

I'm pretty happy so far!

The boost of the Flank chain is pretty nice,but I'm not sure if I'll ever use Dark Tendrils. I'm way too attached to Reflection -> Hypnotic Darkness.

On a related note: Is the cap increase just for buffs? I have a few extra points of str on my spellcrafted set (over the +75 cap), but I'm still capped out at 190, as before the patch. So I guess it's just for buffs? Won't make much difference for me, then, since I almost always run alone and unbuffed

Can't say I've noticed the flank/SR difference much, not even managed to use DT yet, I normally go for reflection/HD in preference.

As for the buff changes, well wow. At level 48 I'm topping 1700 WS and 2200 hp, which is just crazy.

Reminds me of Magic card game. This used to be such an awesome game until wizards smelled the money and made a lot of sully rules and waaaay too much expansions. Then it sucked.

Having checked flank/SR a bit more I'm actually quite pleased with it - noticably more damage than backslash (though harder to land and no to-hit) and it's less end too. Was pretty underwelmed by the bleed on dark tendrils, 12 on the first tick, bleh that's like an extra 10 damage overall.

I did +250 with Shadow's Rain against an elven Champ earlier this morning (using 2.6 speed weapons), so I like that chain quite a bit now It's not that hard to pull off in one on one encounters, as long as you can manage to get parry -> Reflect -> Hypnotic Darkness in. I imagine it will be harder in larger scale RvR, with people running around and whatnot.

Meh, my merc only has 1101 ws unbuffed. 44/50/37 thrust spec.

The DS bleed is great.

i dont like the new DT.

Sure shorter timer = good.. however it is not good for the way i used to use it. My ST style always been cast on the enemy tank then ignore them while they fumbling and go straight for the caster. now i got to take time to actually hit the enemy too which is frustrating as they not even my target

Could this be the same Teador who spammed these forums for months after he "quit"? As I recall a fair few of those posts were about how boring the game is etc.

I don't see how increasing the power of buff bots is in any way shape or form good for the game. It's just good for Mythic's turnover.

PS. These forums are for discussing the game. It isn't a prerequisite to actually be playing it. So please get half-a-clue before you start calling other people stupid.
