I have contacted BT tech support, and they are unaware of the problem with their network.

I have informed them, but to get something done quick, they need more people to tell them of the problem.

Please contact their tech support line and let them know its not working.

They are going to look into the problem at the bletchley exchange but I dont know if this is really what it is.

Anyone else have any clues incase they call me back again?

edit: BTW you guys that cant get through - keep trying, it took me about 25 redials :D

It has to be the bletchley exchange, as the route works fine for about a minute, then everything after, and including, the bletchley exchange goes dead.

it is either bletchly, or the router onto the backbone... not sure if all BT traffic goes through the same router from btopenworld.com onto bt.net... but it surely shouldnt take them long to look at a couple of machines. If this takes much longer, all correspondance is going to be cc'd to the CEO

Well bletchley is the hop before that..so it is probably that causing it to die

XPing in Birmingham sounds far too risky. Apart from all the normal PL issues on the ring road, with Masshouse down at the moment we're unlikely to get through to the action there, either :D
