We are a small-to-medium sized guild, which began with a group of friends
and grew in number primarily on the recommendations of members, or via
meeting and playing with people in both PvE and RvR.
The guild is heavily oriented towards RvR, seeing PvE as a means to an end
rather than a regularly enjoyable alternative to RvR. Although most of us
have the majority of items/artifacts we need, we do try and run fairly
regular Artifact raids. We are committed to putting out groups in the ML's
with again, the majority of regular players being around ML5. There is a
raft of chars that are currently ML-zero and we will be embarking on the
ML path with guild groups through ML1 & 2 shortly after the New Year.
The guild direction leans towards a caster group for NF, so Sorcs, Cabbies,
Thuergists, Wizards and Clerics are most likely to integrate quickly into our
groups.
Our intentions, given the nature of NF RvR, is to try and run groups that
will generally try and roam, rather than zerg and keep-take whenever the
state of the Frontiers permits it.
The current roster is largely made up of professional people in their 20-40 's
that typically play 7pm+ GMT on weekdays and Sundays. We are generally
RR4+ and ML5+ and looking to add similar types.
The guild heirachy is pretty flat: GM, Officer, sub-Officer, Guildee, Trialist.
There are 3 active GM's, and a number of Officers
Our playerbase consists of a high percentage of UK and Danish players.
Our guild belongs to the Defenders of Albion alliance
There is a 3 week trial period when joining, primarily to determine how well
you integrate with us and us with you. During this period, we'd expect you
to participate in guild events where possible and be relatively accessible
when online.
Guild harmony is a core factor when it comes to approving a new guildee,
as no-one wants to come home from work, play a game that they pay some
money for, and for several hours - only to do so amongst people they don't
get along with.
Ideally we are looking to recruit people that can comfortably play between
3-10 hrs a week, have a decent understanding of the game and are pretty
determined to achieve a good ML, SC template, Realm Rank, who are quite
competitive and yet open-minded.
