As a noobie to this lovely world i would like some advice on speeding up my connection times with sof2. I have a 56k connection 1800+xp,256ddr,windows xp, geforce2mx400 64mb, system, and i am particularly looking for sof2 console commands to stabilize my pings under at least 500ms. any help or links would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.

deviant go to www.lagless.com to optimise your 56k
play on servers near to your location ie same country
make sure you select 56k in the network options in sof
also if your gona be on 56k for a while invest in a good external hardware modem diamond supra is prolly the best (serial version NOT usb)

for high pingers: if the tips at that homepage dont make you excited enuff u can try to aim a little BEFORE the enemy.. checking your ping.. if you got around 300... aim 3 seconds before the enemy =).. if its 200 aim 2 secs before em.. etc.. etc..

I know its n00b tips but i hope it can help SOMEONE =)

thats not realy true for sof2 as the lag correction in the netcode is
very acurate
