As the headline states, Tip just made RR 7, early hours of Wednesday 7th July.

Well done mate, and the first pint is on me, (second Aim can buy!) when I come down to Leeds and see you in near future hopefully!..

As for zerging...heh! I dont really consider a trio as a 'zerg' (which is the usual tip/aim/tip run around) or even 4 or 5 ! And as for grappling !...yeah..ITS COOL AINT IT! just you wait till I get look out matey...youll be so sick you wont want to play!

Well you dont consider trio as a zerg but its a zerg when you solo. Its in same ratio 3 fg vs 1 fg = zerg. Or: A ranger uncovering you 3 with TS in front of a fg. Thats the exact same ratio you use against solo'ers. I guess you didnt think about that yet?

True, but then if you had a non-stealther running solo and getting whacked by a group of 3 non-stealthers they'd be a bit lame if they started complaining about being zerged.

As for the ranger uncovering part, they do, fair play its an intended part of the game. Seem to remember in a one of the patches where they nerfed archers stating that they're not supposed to run solo, but in or with groups.....Could be wrong though.

grats m8, havnt spoken with you much, but RR7 is a big acheivment

although (in a completely non-agressive/whine/flame way) i do agree with Puppet in that once you get past rr5, especially as a stealther, you should start to get out on your own a little bit tbh solo is a lot more fun, challenging, and rewarding. if its genuinely just the company you like, then can always make a CG to keep in touch... too many people are opting for the "saftey in numbers" approach to rvr

im pretty convinced they ment running with non-stealther groups there tbh ;p

and its not like a rr5+ scout cant beat a rr8 SB in melee ;p (happens more then often tbh, without FZ mind you)

Yep maybe so, but I'm sure even they figured it would lead to them running together. Seem also to remember something about "massed ranks of archers" being mentioned by Mythic at some point (again could be wrong )

However, when it comes down to it, its upto people to decide how they want to play, some people prefer 1v1, some the larger fights, right upto big old relic raids. Each to their own

What I do object to is someone deciding that because they chose to play in one way everyone else must do the same.

some likes to play 5vs1 too, like named tip, ive never seen him solo or even trio, always 5 or more.

and if they can chose from an even number stealther group or a soloer, they go for the soloer as its easy rp.

stealthzergs are boring, period. plus it drives me so mad that i sometimes bring fg non-stealthers to whipe them out, wich isnt fun either.

aye, i remember those masses of archers too, and i think they ment á la lord of the rings there, where archers back non-stealthers up.
As it is now, its 5 archers together using TS less then every 10 mins and kills what they can.

Wich is, im sure, not what mythic intended.

No reason why they should get vitriolic abuse for grouping, its part of the game when it comes down to it, some might not like it, but some of the insults that have been thrown about are just lame . . . . (Last part not aimed at you GrivneKelmorian btw)
