Ron Paul Warns Of Great Shift Toward Global Government Under Obama

Now before you go "omgz gorb iz supatinfoilnerdlolz" theres two things you need to know:

1) Im not making any claims here. I just want to know what people here think about this stuff. Having been on this forum long enough i know that i need to repeat this: Im not saying hes right. I dont have an opinion as i dont know enough. Im simply asking you what you think.

2) If a US congress man and presidential candidate says something then dont you think it deserves to be discussed properly before shooting the messenger?

Discuss!

Hmmmmmmmm i mean there is a healthy dose of semi-conspiracy in that thread. But he does raise the point of the democratic gains in both congress and the senate. Generally the house has been relatively even if i can remember my american politics. But with Obama having such support in both houses (so to speak) he'll be in a good position to push through the policys that he deems suitable. Whereas previously there has always been a chance for healthy debate between the varying political spectrum in congress or senate.
Unless ofc the Republicans can pull off the mother of all filibusters with the limited numbers they have in the 2 houses.

Well it's only a matter of time before a world run government is established and, much like countries have county MPs, countries will end up with their leaders being the voice of their country at a world order and nothing more.

European union, North american union and the african union are already in place... probably more that I don't know about but it'll just make it harder for individual countries leaders to influence not joining a world union. Are they going to back out of it? Of course not, that'll end up destroying the countries economy and thus, it's an inevitability.

As far as I see it, Russia is going to be the only country which could stop this in the long run but if it did, I can't see it being in a 'good' manner.

Once that's in place, how long before worldwide I.D cards are going to be in place and before long, there will be no-one about to argue against them being in the form of microprocessors. As soon as that happens, I don't really care that you'll be alright as long as you tow the line, there will be a reduction of freedom which will be forced as not towing the line can mean your chip being turned off. With all personal monetery wealth stored on your chip, you wouldn't even be able to buy food...

While it's not an original view nor an optimistic one, I can't force myself to beleive in any other outcome. At that point it'll be a small handful of people commanding billions... and I wonder how many of them are going to be staunch christians and push their ways on the people by form of law.

I know I'll probably get flamed for saying this but I'm killing time so thought I'd post it anyway :)

Well god damn. I thought i was tin foil. :p

Seriously though: Im not going to deny this or accept it as truth. All i know is that something is deeply wrong with the world right now and i'll believe anything if theres evidence. All those who laugh at conspiracy theorists even when they know nothing of the world around them are dumber than those who believe the theories without questioning them.

I dunno why the prospect of a one world government scares people so much, I mean there won't be anyone to fight wars against (other than collonists on Mars etc =P) and no more 3rd world debt etc. As far as I'm concerned it will be for the general good of the world if it does happen.

you dont even need to the article to discuss it.
just look at the main website Alex Jones' InfoWars.net: Manning the guns in the fight against tyranny

to realise its completley shite.

its not what id class as a reliable source of information.

rather than always link us to texts which discuss the evidence, cant you just link us to the actual evidence its self?

it would make more sense, and there would be some kind of authenticity.
its like a BNP member stating this and that, and directing people to BNP publications.
when in fact they could allow people to make their mind up better directing people to the basic factual information.

Thats not a gret recruiting method you know. It would be as likely as the Jehovah's Witnesses going "we think our way of life is the best but here's some evidence that supports both sides of the argument" instead of ZOMG! SIN!*

* This opinion has been formed from encounters with members of said religion. I am willing to accept that not all Jehovah's Witnesses are like this. And that I may have spelled Jehovah wrong.

Whenever I hear about Jehovah's witnesses, the first thing that pops into my head is Jenovah and so i have an image of them being led by a bloke who looks like Sephiroth!

actually thats exactly what they do if you read one of their watchtower magasines.

they explicitly say the bible they use is their own version.
that is to say theyv modified the bible and created a whole new one for their own views.

they at least point out that their information is created by them and not form somewhere else.

Quite fair actually, and true.

What are you saying? It never happened? :p

Theres a youtube video of it. (Which i tried to find for 10 secs but then realised i couldnt be bothered. He said this stuff. period!)

Anyway, people rather read the article than watch a 20 minute video.

Its about competing blocks atm, Europe/Americas/Far East. China & India are blocks on their own.

every. bloody. time!!!

When will you accept that collendars are the way to go?

I keep telling you, tin foil is outdated and simply not up to the job anymore, modern day collendars offer a wide range of protective qualities that tin foil just cant match!

he may of said SOMETHING but for all we know, the info on that site is modified. and from the looks of it, its not really a balanced source to find things out from.

Anyone who seeks power like Obama should be watched closely. The thing that worries me most are all the favours he now owes from the costs of the campaign. American politics and political system is a shame as it all comes down to money.

Read PJ O'Rourkes - 'A parliment of whores' to understand the workings, its a hilarious insight into the US system.

That said this does look like conspiracy BS.

Yeah, you're not seriously trying to say that's something that should be taken seriously?

Your first post, great, no judging etc, no tinfoilery...this...back to basic Gorb :p

Honestly there's SUCH a spin on that thing that it would make Paris Hilton feel right in the head.

All i said was "hmm.. :ninja:". How is this any different?

I dont believe any of this until i get evidence. But the fact is that nothing coming from people in as high positions as these should be ignored. If they cant prove it then dont believe them, but atleast listen. (I'll say again: NO i dont believe it. But im giving them a chance to prove themselves)

If they end up being right then how much of a sheep will you feel like? :m00:

None.

I'm saying ney or yei for this to happen, but i don't particularly even bother to acknowledge some hypothesis by the opposing political parties members.

'cause frankly if the US even gets a "gestapo"(thanks for the godwins by the way), i don't even know if it's a good or bad thing.

A nationals ecurity force isn't a bad idea, if it's executed right.

Im guessing many people said that about gestapo.

Well it was a good idea but the basis for it wasn't.

Gestapo as such isn't a bad idea, if it's based on a "good" cause. Good being something else then genocide.
