Just a quick story that had me in stitches of laughter last night. Apologies in advance to the Celt named Theagon.

I went on a little trip to Gorge last night with 6 of us in total, after wiping out a green and blue con party after they had dealt with their mobs. (they did stand around confused for a little too long). We waited in our favourite hiding place by some trees near the Hib fort, and low and behold, out comes Novamir and Aeiedil and the other big guns.

I was literally toe to toe and about to join battle (we were gonna get whooped, all red to me and i was highest level in group) when POP! out go all the lights, the PC shuts down, everything in the house in darkness, my GF shouting whats going on? anyway, to cut a long story short, it was a 5 minute power cut. I was quite angry at the timing of it, as i was hoping to take a bit of health out of one of the high hibbies.

5 mins pass, i relog, enter password, game loads, and here i am in Gorge again, alive, and on my own, but standing in front of me, with his back to me, and i mean !!1 inch!! in front of me, is a blue conn celt called Theagon.

Bolt, Hammer, Hammer, Dead.

Theagon, i salute and bow, i just wanted to share this little adventure and prove to you that "Timing is everything"

Well to be honest this wasn't planned timing... He just happened to be there right at that time.. More a coincidence in my eyes..

And btw a lot of people had sudden LD's all over. At one time I had a constant 2 sec. lag. Which prevented me even from using styles... (wonder what was happening, maybe a router somewhere went down again or something...)

Quote - He just happened to be there at the right time...- Unquote

Albs, ......doh........dont even get Irony. Nobody said anything about planned timing, the power cut saved my ass and sent Theagon to an early grave.....as yet my criminal thane superpowers are not strong enough to bring down the local electricity grid and cause a power cut.

Still, it was fun.

To the midgarders i send you love, and good wishes, to the hibs i send a slightly beyond its sell by date bunch of wilting roses, perhaps your skills as uphill gardeners can save them. To the Albions i dont send anything, not worth it. dumbo tincans.

I would like to thank someone in your party who saved me from an XP kill, was prolly one of the nicest deaths in the gorge yet. I got aggro'd by 60 million and one things, and one of your norsies happened to get the last blow in.

Thanks whoever that was...
