I know, I know but I forgot how to do the timedemo in Q3 any help would be appreciated!Thanx in advance

bring up the console (press `)
then type the following
/timedemo 1
/demo XXXXX
where XXXXX is the name of the demo 2 play (eg. /demo demo001) u can also play the demo thro' the menu if u wish.
when the demo as finished playing, bring the console up again and the FPS will be displayed on the last line
then type the following
/timedemo 1
/demo XXXXX
where XXXXX is the name of the demo 2 play (eg. /demo demo001) u can also play the demo thro' the menu if u wish.

[UC]Aqua has created two benchmarking demos
(UC Benchmark Demo Pack) which will give you a "worst case" scenario for your machine .. basically telling you what your FPS will look like in a heavy fire fight.
Having an average FPS of about 50 in demo001 isn't much cop if it drops to 20 in a firefight (trust me, I know)
