Anyone noticed that time seems to creep by ever so slowly in the actual moment, but when you wake up one morning its suddenly 3 years later than when you went to bed, or so it seems. A year is nothing these days, it just disappears - i can hardly believe its 2006 tbh.

Will i wake up tomorrow and suddenly be an old man?

lol anyone else have grown ups saying to you when you were a little kid "make the most of it, time goes by faster the older you get" ?

and when they said it you just thought "what the hell are they on about, theyre 103 years old! what'd they know anyway"

I remember school holidays used to drag something rotten when all my friends were away and i had nothing to do, when my friends were there and we'd go off playing and getting in to adventures the days would wizz by. then when i went back to school the hours between 9am and 3pm seemed to last a week.

Ofc time doesnt actually speed up or slow down but when your a kid you know how to make the most of it, you dont sit back and think "meh i cba" you wake up at 7am to watch the cartoons as soon as its light your off, dont know where to but your determined to get there and see whats happening.

I used to have this recurring dream when i was little, i'd be in the garden playing and it was a really sunny day and i'd see a rainbow in the fields down the road from my house so i'd run off after it to see what was at the bottom but when i got there it'd moved and so i had to run further and i never caught it. Thats how life feels sometimes to me now, i run and run to catch up but im never fast enough. Most of the time i think sod it just enjoy where and when you are now, but sometimes i get whistful and want to catch the rainbow, just to see.

Time seems to go faster the older we get, because the older we are, each day/month/year becomes a smaller and smaller fraction of our lifespan so far. A year for a 5 year old boy is 1/5th of his life. A year for a 50 year old man is just 1/50th of his life.. making it seem much shorter.

At least that's my theory.... :p

I don't belive in time.

Time is just an illusion madeup by the goverment, wanting us to sleep 1/3 of our life away so we got less time to investigate all their secret projects! But I am on to them... Soon I will know all about... <zZzzzzzzzZZzzZZZzzzz>...

Wow thats pretty deep Ez  that whole dream thing too, I think I had that when I was little.

I once has this recurring dream where I was put into this massive gameshow thing with different rooms and all my mates were there too answering the questions. In each room you had to answer a question, and you had a bit of paper where you marked your answers on. Everytime I got to the end, I suddenly realised that I'd missed out a couple of rooms, so I had to go back, but I was out of time and I watched all my mates hand their answers to the quizmaster guy :/ had that on and off for about 3 weeks when I was about 12.

it is true, if you are young make the most of what you can do.

although through about 3yrs of secondary school i really had no friends at all, and my summers were spent on my own. there is a lot of depression and 'thoughts' around this point, so i wont bother to share them unless someone really wants to know.

although when i was younger than that still, i used to be up at the crack of dawn and going to bed at the crack of dawn. even the smallest things were fun. like jump on the bike and go riding all day. i dont do that now, i cba.

for me, alot of the things i couldnt do when i was young im doing it now as i get older. and a lot of the things i could do, i cba to do anymore.

its all about balance!

SUUUUURE! Go on with your bloody theories and sayings that "Time is fiction!" or "Time doesn't exist!" Mh mi mi mi miiiii...

Bah!

When you go around saying "Time isn't real" you get nods and lovely arguments, but try going to the shop, grab a bottle of soda and walk out saying "Sorry sir, i don't believe in money!" and you get escorted away by a lovely police man :(
