A pretty good link that seems to go through most of what this next upgrade is about.

Basically, new weaps, horses, and Champion levels that let you train in a few new abilities.

You gain 34hp and 34 power (not sure on power) per champ lvl, so x5 is 170 hits and 170 power more.

Abilities are nice, i myself have gone the seer resists line which means im able to have + 8 to all resists at champion level 5.

Star of Destinys can be purchased for 4p each from the quartermaster in the kings throne room, along with respecs for CL abilities for 100g (Only if you are Champion Level 2 +)

Horses are expensive, the standard chestnut horse can be purchased without obtaining a copy of darkness rising, and the epic mounts (15p) for classes without speed are useful in rvr, as speed 4 (around there) is given by purchasing it.

Also the extra titles, Seeker for CL 1 , Enforcer for CL 2, Outrider for CL 3, Lightbrining for CL 4 and King's Champion for CL 5.

The best way to obtain champion experiance is either completing all 3 chapters of the Darkness rising quests, which Chapter 1 can be started at lvl 30, 2 at 40 and 3 at 50. Or me myself find that RvR gives the best champion lvl experiance. You can gain Champ lvl 5 in 300k rp's.

Champion weapons can be obtained by completing Chapter 2 of the Champion quests, but the extra abilities cannot be used until your Champion lvl 5 or have defeated the circle of five.

Also the client runs much better in rvr than Catacombs, a lot smoother.

Hope this helps, if anyone has any questions i may be able to provide an answer, i kinda have the upper hand playing the US servers.

Thats what they also said about the Catacombs client which runs alot slower than the ToA one (atleast for me).

dr client is worse than Catacombs client.

I don't agree. With the catacombs client it was hard to target most players with the catacombs models on. With Darkness Rising client it is easier, the screen doesn't judder and it feels alot smoother.

Atm i run with DR client and if i duel log i run darkness rising client, if i run catacombs twice my comp crashes

When it first came it was retardedly slow. Now I can dual log and sticking bot with mach5 and sprint in zergy areas, not possible on ANY other client

1024 DDR ram(333 mhz or 400)
Ati Radeon 9700 pro

3 year old puter so it does good

1.81 patch just smooth it up for some reason, havent been able to dual log on stick since 1.76

I always was under the impression that if you get attacked you instant dismount your horse. that horse fight must be bugged orsomething
