Time to spank the dragon

I have a theory, pls hear me out before you condemn me to death or summat worse, ie. teaming with Geldor or summat

Basically I dont think the dragon was bugged, I believe we didnt do it correctly on the last raid. When you attack the dragon and die, it outputs some msg along the lines of "Hahaha Im big ur not, ur dead bla bla, your pwr will join mine" or summat. When that msg occurs a GHOST of your char is created, these things as we have all seen attack on behalf of the dragon and also, when ppl are all dead around the dragon run to the dragon and seem to be asborded giving the dragon 'their' health. Now my theory is, and this may seem contraversial , while ghosts are freely running around the dragon still has life, so... if you get the dragon to 0 health as we did on last raid, he aint actually dead, not until all the ghosts are killed anyway.

Well thats my rant over. Please reply with input to my theory. Anyhow I for one feel its time we went at the dragon again, I want the spear it MAY drop

Mid dragon did the very same thing after attacked the first after new patch, same with albion dragon.

after a failed event, we went back after a week or so, and killed it with ease, so ZERG it again and that's you done ;|

Hmm interesting, point about mid and alb dragons.

Either way is anyone up for it? cos lets face it, its pretty embarrasing to know both mid and alb have killed their dragon. Though hib asual has the hardest mob

Also I hear the dragon drops some stuff, hopefully not just cash

not embarrassing, Ive witness the alb drag, going down on a US server to around 100 albs... and they used no real tactics, just steamed in...

The hibernian drag has been killed on 3-4 Servers only, whereas the mid and alb dragon has been killed on 95% of the servers...

Hibernian dragon is a pain in the ass.....

Gonna be testing some stuff this weekend...

taking a small grp of 50 peeps to try some new tactics....

Interesting about the ghosts. Well worth trying if we get that far next time.

I have a slightly different theory. I also think that the people that die add to dragons health. I think that perhaps adds coming when dragon screamed for help did kill us faster than we hurt the dragon and thus we never gained on him at the end. Add to this that people where stunned/teleported.

ive been on 2 dragon raids on mid/prydwen that i remember.. first time we didnt really use any tactics.. just zerged him from all directions and he died in about 30 secs!!!
2nd time i went though there seemed to be alot more planning.. that time we failed.. so well i dunno.. just zerg the bastard
