Lets face it DAOC gonna take a hammering now WOW is out. They only got themselves to blame though. Only thinking of ways to pressurise people into having more than one account all the time and restricting game design to make sure of it. Just looking for ways to extract more money out of everyone from day one. Take me for instance and tonight:

Accidently levelled to 25 in Thid with Prettyboy after whacking an Alb caster. How the heck I levelled I dunno. You don't get a full bar for killing someone do you? Anyways I levelled - but! I only got the one account. 'So' I hear you say. Well for me to reroll another sb or any alt to play in Thid now someone has to swap over tons of items from a full vault so I can free up an alt slot. No-one I know would do it. So now I find that instead of keeping at least one account going I ain't. Only way I can reroll another alt is by having 2 accounts. Very sorry state of affairs to get a game in after all this time in development. Playing WOW now a little and in there you can send items through a postal service to your other alts. No need for 2 accounts at all.

Terrible and disgusting management has ruined DAOC for sure and it deserves to die a death unless there is a major turn around in thinking.

DAOC managers and game developers - you should be bloody well ashamed of yourselves! NO GAME should ever need 2 accounts to work you bloody idiots!

The only thing I would like to know is why you constantly whine about BBs since as you say yourself you can rip apart any buffed character? Uhm maybe because you cant? Ah ut what am I saying. Of course you can. It's just bad luck. One time it'll be lag, next time it'll be adds, the next it'll be that sticky substance in your palm you don't bother to wash off after you're done... Oh and if you're going to bother answering, at least actually give an answer and not just another link to some stupid movie of yours. We aren't interested.

Whine?

There are a number of reasons I whine about buffbots but the main one is that you shouldn't have to have 2 accounts to play this game. Unbuffed players should be the norm. That way toa makes sense and the gains are not bonkers. Take for instance my Thid SBS and my level 50 Norse SB. My BUFFED VALKYN (weak as hell) Thid sb - level 24 - was stronger - faster - everything infact bar for con and hits than my unbuffed level 50 Norse sb. Even though my Norse sb was capped I think. Level 50 unbuffed Norse sb had about 175-180 str yet a fully buffed toa'd sb can have 370 str!!!! Tis the buffing causing the problems with game balance. Albs get the very effective af buff and the hibs get the incredible haste buff. These are apart from all the rest of the buffs.

As far as Thid is concerned if all the buffs were removed then hardly anything could kill me but still that reflects the true state of my gameplay and others. No way though can I move on to play as an unbuffed sb to the higher levels - I know my limitations. I hit a buffed inf at 50 for 95 with my 100% 2 handed axe and he turned around and hit me for 350 mainhand and 150 offhand.

Wot other game needs 2 accounts? Mythic must have lost more players because of this than they have gained from people paying for more than one account. No-one wants a buffbot cos it makes no sense. All everyone wants is a level playing field and you can get that by everyone not being buffed.

Wossa betting Mythic will make the one account a viable option now that WOW is poaching it's players.

Was I was at my best at the age of 7 months in womb. Almost Won a 10k race then that other lil one beat me to teh egg! but i came second! 31mins and 20 secs (Along came Thugs!). Nope cos at 7 I wiped the floor with more mature ppl in running (he forgot to mention the name of this race: "100m dash, available on PC/PS" ) and now at 7 I doing it mentally with older bucks of god knows wot age. (you do realise this is a game ....right Thugs ) ?

Bah youse all think you can 'rule' Thid like wot I did but you never will. If all the buffs were removed from Thid I would bet that only a very few would have a chance to kill me at all. The only ones I would have trouble with would be mercs with dirty tricks and maybe some reavers - oh and some Friars. Am just saying this to give you lot hope cos I have killed all 3 one on one and some were in the best gear going. The rest would all die no prob. I would become the 'All Time Greatest Thid Player' again!
