I'm not trying to be condescending towards the mids but it does seem like most of them are students, thus still live at home and have to live by their parents rules; which includes going to bed earlier than most.

A couple of reason why I believe this to be so:

- They were the ones who reached 50 en masse first on excalibur this doesn't require any kind of skill merely a lot of time and dedication. This students have in abundance.

- In emain the mids are also active from the wee hours of the morning until early evening and generally camp apk seeing as they outnumber us at that time.

- Mids seem to think primetime is between 15:00 and 20:00. This is not the case in albion most, high level, people are online between 21:00 and 24:00 which is the time we usually organise such things, and before we actually get rolling its easily 23:00+.

Whenever one of our relics gets succesfully raided we look at ourselves and our faults as a team. This doesn't seem to be the case with the mids you always try to find someone to blame but never yourselves, as all your posts on these boards indicate.

So the answer to all your problems would be: Move out

The way I see it, part of the problem is when you think its just a normal daoc evening, your bored and logged by midnight, I am, the game is getting stale. If your on the other side, you've made the commitment to stay up for the raid, so its no problem.

The ensuing flames are predictable what ever happens, as is the immature gloating posts. All the realms have their idiots.

TBH, I'm not that bothered Albion has the relics, at lvl42 I rarely go to rvr anyway, but I am slightly dissapointed that I missed the fun lastnight (always try to help defend/take Relics when I can) as I had already logged for the night.

Ok taking relics is NOW fine by me at any time. But what really annoys me is how the albs or hibs show off about it and as they do they throw abusive comments, which IMHO triggers the flames. How many posts are on the same thing? about 5 threads? next time just make 1 and say something like grats who all turned up on a successful raid instead of gloating and u will expect less flames.

Every realm gloats, or to be precise every realm has it fair share of gloaters. You're just biased towards your own like everyone is. Nothing wrong with that. I would be more worried if you'd be biased towards a realm that you don't play in

So NORMAL european time when MOST of players on ALL realms are online are from 16 CET to 23 CET - and its true.

So stop trying to find any words to comfort yourself with this stupid researches and just face it - ALbs CANNOT PLAY FAIR. That's all.

And LOL Alb blame others for taking relic while Some foorball game, which was interesting only for england.

Than should others blame Albion for PLAYING during Beerfest or Middsummer festivals or durign WHATEVER event taking part in any other country ? LOL.

you must be female cos footballs football "world cup football fans watch as much footy as they can". im sure a high % off all realms watched as many games as they could and not just there own countrys .. as you stated above all middys are mummys boys and goto bed early hence not many online . that is excatly he same circumstances middys attacked our relic when england wereplaying . why do you think they attacked then ? yea because they knew there would be v little or no albs online due to them watching the football

What annoys me is that even before we've finished the raid, loads of whiners are in here whining instead of trying to stop us getting the last 2 relics to Excalibur.
Mids and Hibs plz stop that whining now, you don't hear Albs whine when a relic was taken from them, no matter time. That could be with one exception, the WC final, but even then I can't really be pissed, Daoc is a freaking game and can be played 24/7, some play in the morning, some play it in the afternoon, some play it in the evening and some play it at night. That is facts that explain why whiners should be quite and play instead.

I got a job, a good one, just got vacation ATM, so do many of the peeps I know playing Daoc too.

Illuminati had 3 groups in that keepraid, we got members from many countries including, UK, Denmark, Norway, Czech republic, France in our guild and guess what !, they were all there. Most family people use early evening to be with family and then go play after the family has gone to sleep. So it's not a matter of timezones but a matter of which time people can get to play. Aparently most Albs like to play late evening/night.

i am a staunch midgard supporter, but i have to support "some" of the reasonable posts made by both sides, yes even alb posts on this thread.

A) people play at different times............thus creating an almost 24/7 server.

I have a fiancee, family, a flat, a good job, friends, a football team and numerous other factors taking up my time.

i love DAOC, and play as often as i can, but the above reasons mean i log on no earlier than 10pm GMT of a weekday evening, and catch some daytime hours in the weekend.

if you are there to take part in a keep raid, good on ya, if you logged an hour before because nothing was happening on your side, so be it.

the ENDLESS, monotonous, BORING, repeated flames/threads of "you took the relic at 1am you suck!", replied by "you took the relic at 6pm you suck!" are RIDICULOUS.

people play, when they can play, be they at school, unemployed, working, or whatever else you can think of.

i agree with the sentiment that taking a defended relic keep is 100% more fun than taking an undefended one, but since realms cannot communicate, and you attack when you are online, if their are no defenders there, what can you do.

OMG I almost agree with another of ur posts but as far as I'm aware none of the realms have been able to do this in 'real' RvR.

1. i'm a student
2. i don't live at home (home being parents place, everyone lives at home really )
3. The majority of students i know don't live at home
4. i'm a hib, not mid
5... students may have a lot of free time, but decication? come on!

And the smokin a pipe thing, depends what was in it.
But middle aged i aint, unless i'm gonna die at 42.
