i have been having problems with certian maps, either whan i auto down load them or down load them some where else.
when i try and play a server with the new map it comes up with a cannot load valve/ valve error???? can anyone help?

i use to get this, with nuke and vertigo.

somethin like "connot load valve jos.wad" or somethin

i fixed it by redownloadin it.. someone sent me em

Try and download any maps you need using your internet browser. The ingame download takes ages, and usually times out.

NOTE: For those of you that have the retail version of CS you will require this patch It will enable you to play survivor and inferno as unfortunately some files were missed out of the upgrade for the retail version. This includes 3 wads (jos.wad, n0th1ng.wad, tundra.wad) and the maps (as_tundra, cs_estate, de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_vegas & de_vertigo) as well as the associated files. Well worth it if you have the Retail version.
