Thrust Infils?

Any Thrust Infils out there willing to share any tips on how to spec and what artifacts to use? I haven't touched my strong RR3 Infil since release of ToA, but thinking of giving it a go now. Since my Merc is Slash/DW spec I thought I could try Thrust/CS spec for a change of play style.

Also links to nice templates would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

50 Thrust 44 Cs 35 stealth then rest is how much Dw you prefer really

My inf is 50 slash 50 cs and I love it

Didnt really like the thrust/dw spec

44 or 50cs, since you're only rr3 44cs is safer.

If you want capped stealth and lifebane and can afford a respec every realm rank then 39cs with 37stealth/env works fine too ;o

Artis is presonal choice really, whatever vest you want, whatever cloak, whatever weapons Some use 2xLW, some have traitors, croc tooth, GS ..

Find some artis you really want in then work a template around it is usually the best way.

Personally found it hard to base a template on thrust/cs or thrust/dw using artis rod,som,gs,traitors and/or croc dagger, basic reason I respecced to slash.

thrust/CS can work really well, but i found with thrust my dmg isnt as high on PA as it is with slash (i know diff wpn spds ect..) if having 50CS makes alot of diff i dont know, i would probably go for

CS 44 (is it worth going 50? do you get of the full evade chain in RvR?, i'm not sure tbh)
thrust 50
Env 37
DW 8 (leftovers)

i dont know if this would be a good spec or not, but you can raise your dmg by using LifeBane (and the viper RA? again is it worth it?)

Landed ripper once in a month and that was only cos the hunter I was fighting IP'd mid chain.

No, you rarely even get the second style of evade off. Basically due to lag, strafing, or generally the opponent blocks/parries/evades one of the styles anyway.

and the viper RA? again is it worth it?

Personally, I'd say it's only worth going for Viper as an additional damage add, which is obviously always useful. Although I'd only go for it at higher realm rank. More important RAs to get before Viper.

Im 50 cs and the evade chain of 4 styles is usually this when trying to use it:

Target dies to early
Target strafes like fuck so you dont even land hamstring followup
You dont evade xD

My spec until rr6 was 39 cs, 36 stealth, envenom, 27 dw, 50 thurst.
At rr5 I gone for 44 cs, 35 stealth, 35 envenom, 50 thurst 21 dw
at rr6: 44 cs, 34 stealth/venom, 50 thurst 24 dw

Now on rr7: 50 cs, 50 thurst, 30 envenom, 33 stealth, 19 dw, but i think i will spec back for 44 cs, 33 envenom for lifebane and for a bit more dw, 19 dw is too low, even with autotrain too, infils should get about 2.8 mulitpler for a good spec imo !

i went from 39cs 35dw to 50cs 8dw and tbh id say my damage is higher now then before Damage on each hand is higher and the missing odd swing off the offhand really doesnt impact that much.
