Why of why did they start with a slash version, add a crush version and not provide a thrust option
Anyone who wants one send a suggestion to Mythic, see if we can turn the tide for a future release

Looking for more reasoned arguements please.
Saying its not available due to one style of the thrust line isn't valid as far as I'm concerned. There is a 6s stun in the crush line but they still have access to it.

Well, the model used for Battler looks a lot like a Roman Gladius, which was a thrusting/bludgeoning weapon rather than a slashing weapon...

I know the feeling, i'd love a Battler in axe form but as far as i'm aware it can only be activated as Sword/Hammer (it's an even bigger pain in the ass for me because Sword/Axe are both slash dmg type )

For the same reason they said that the scorpion tail ring wouldn't level on giant scorpions because they aren't scorpions back in the last patch

yes and all crush weapons look like sword, and go look at a gladius thier not slim like most others

If you want it for the lvl10 charge, you can just keep it in a slot, and use a thrust or whatever in the other.

As someone pointed out the Battler model is based on the old Roman gladius, and they were thrusting weapons (cos there's very little room to slash from a shield wall).

Then we should be able to activate it as flexible too imo since there's only 1 (!) arti weapon from that line (I think the same goes for scythe in hib, don't bother correcting me if i'm wrong.)
