Hello all,
Some recent leavers have left me quite sad.
When I was on one of my lengthy wanders the other day I actually thought to myself, what would happen if one of the officers/leaders of sotl left our fondest realm. But the thought quickly passed through my mind thinking it to be madness.
Before I have to head out, I would like to bring up a couple of points. If you are not enjoying playing then rather terminating you're a/c try just not playing for a couple of days maybe even a week if you have to, the bug to play will soon grab you or it does me. Heck I look forward to going to work cause I know I will miss things I enjoy doing and this game is one of them. Also perhaps try heading over to excal to either mid or hib which ever you are a wardrobe personality of, don't tell anyone (except close ingame friends) who you are and make new friends, seriously its quite refreshing.
Pyro has been in the game a heck of a long time, most of us were in nappies when he was 50 I think or just near it, I understand why he's going but to be honest it makes me quite upset, a superb leader who imo had no trace of arrogance and had a high set of morals <I salute you pyro>.
Things to look forward to:
PvP will roll out soon, we have the new spell crafting not to mention up an coming events tho work does throw a spanner in the works for me to attend these. Shrouded Isles looks superb.
This game still has alot of potential.... if you are in emain every night then you do need to change you're scenery you are going to get bored its bound to happen. Just change within the game not out of it. This game is still the only mmorpg to offer the rvr content and games on the horizon seem to be more geared towards sci-fi (neocron, earth and beyond, swg). Dragon Empires looks interesting for me but daoc has a solid grounding with me.
At the end of the day this costs £6 a month cheaper if you pay in bulk. Its decent entertainment for a price most people can afford to leave running or at least the goa accountants hope you think that ;-).
Good luck all keep positive.
