ahhhhhhh
good to see someone has given backup to my theory now :D

I used 2 b good at tf/cs and managed to top the boards most of the time but since BB has been released and since the later versions have come out i'v been getting crapper and crapper.
Eventually I stopped playing CS about a year ago, and to be honest dont miss it.

I still play TF occasionaly but those screenies show the good o'l days when everyone was on 56gay and it was more fair.

hehe, aye ... I suppose I was playing more frequently back then. Lorra laughs had at 200+ pings. I was the first of the clan to get an ISDN connection (see comparitive pings in first game) and it made it easier for me to move around, but did it improve my game? Er, no ... I am most definitely getting worse at all multi-player games. As a last ditched effort to regain my 'skills' I've resulted to playing TFC on Demon servers where I can at least finish in the top 3 on a team ;)

I keep upgrading my machine & connection expecting to get better at the game. Thinking that because I get a better ping I should kill more and die less, um, er, well its not so. I've resigned myself to the old saying that 'If you weren't much good originally, upgrading isn't really going to help'. Anyway, back to Demon and I shall remain longing for that top 1 position ;)

Funny, I don't remember you playing at all Mr. Granger, only sitting in respawn rooms on NML talking (seemingly to yourself, at many points) about 80's television.

It was a crushing blow to the whole TFC psyche, that.

Nice to see Neil kept the olde stuff, even if he's been lost in the trenches of non-iD land.
