What the hell have happened to everyone, since I came back people seem to whine about everything, there is nothing you can do anymore without getting anyone whining about how wrong it was or how it really should be done.

I have no problem with how people run to emain, who they group with, how they play, there has always been a way to "sort" a problem and there still is, if you believe that a certain guild zergs or plays wrong, just do whatever it takes to take them down, its a game and should be played the way YOU like it, not the way some random guy thinks, or am I wrong?

These forums are here to tell about your victorious battles in game and similiar things that have to do with Realm vs Realm battle, how you defeat a group of high RRs, how you solo with your uber scout, and so on.

Really It's really tiresome when some people seem to think how the game should be played, I mean even Loxley & Belomar whine nowadays and they were like the angels back then, wtf happened to you guys?

I don't think I have to explain the way I want to play but the guild I'm in will always keep the same view of the game that we had 1 year ago and keep on playing it that way, nothing have changed and nothing will change, if you guys think the way we play sucks then report it to GOA, call 911 or someone who cares.

Coming here telling how other people suck because they don't match into your frame of how the game should be played is weak. Instead of doing that, brag about how you killed others and such stuff wich these boards are for.

Oh and btw, to all these newbies (you know who you are) that recently joined excal and are here only for the rps, I consider myself a roleplayer and will add on every single enemy I meet in the frontier, that's how the game was intended, to kill the enemies from the other realms, if you think adding is lame or whatever, go and play somewhere else.

I know how some people will react to this with childish replies but I don't care, at least now you know how I see this game should be played and this is how I _always_ played the game, the game changes, I haven't.

Heh this isn't just newbies, whilst out patrolling Odins when we still had relics left a few weeks ago our guild group basically did what we are supposed to to, attack any enemies we saw. We saw a largish group of albs near amg and rushed in to clense them from our realm, they were engaging with another group of mids at the time, but they were enemies so we attacked. The other group was also in our allience too.... And for our efforts they started a diatribe against us in both /s and /send to some of our players. We would have complained to the gm of their guild, but it was one of the only online officers of that guild who was flaming.
And yes, these were rp whores, famous recently for hitting the 1m rp's in a week so work it out yourself...
We just laughed it off, it's just a game and insults are on the whole just amusing, couldn't be arsed to report them to goa for abuse, because all it showed was just how sad these people are.
Sure they can play the game to farm realm points, but everyone plays the game differently, some people love pve some love zerging some love ganking in uber groups, personally I like playing as part of a nice guild and a realm which I can contribute too.....

i used to play like that when i rvr'ed with my thane about 1year ago, but u know it gets boring in the long run.

Well m8, practically I dont notice any major changes. Whine has always been here and will always be, problem is that once ppl get bored they due to a lack of intellectual capabilities stick to complaining and moaning.

Since SC the skill element making a difference between winning or losing greatly decreased as everybody is practically capped both basic and buffwise and no changes have been made to RvR at all.
The majority of all those nongifted and average players which should make around 80% of the whole population of course is getting frustrated.
I cant even blame them, having a "Pls serve me, im too lazy to dedicate anything" attitude is their good right and you cant expect anything from the couch potatoe nerdish entertain me ffs tv sort of guys can you ?

Seriously, I get your point as i know you long enough and im pretty aware of your dedication to DAoC but dont try to change stuff in big dimensions here, those times are unfortunately over.
Stick with your peeps and simply dont give a flying what random guy xyz whines and moans about. Its not worth the minute you need to think about it.

8v8 and 1v1 (stealth) is not and was never Mythics intention for RvR. That is an idea invented by rp hungry players to preserve their 'food' supply. Just a shame their game engine cant cope with their vision.

make the game what you want to make it. if you want zergs, you zerg. if you want 8vs8 you go find a way too 8vs8 but the key thing about how mythic intended RvR to work (imo) is the fact that, if they _really_ wanted mass epic battles, they should have given 33% of the population to hibernia 33% to albion and 33% midgard. maybe my thinking is very 2 dimensional on this, but if you want GOOD epic battles, you really need equal numbers and equal potential. imo this would make the game very boring. anyone sorry

What makes it boring is when people insist that there's only one way to play. Zergs can be fun, when the numbers are matched. Keep takes, relic raids, soloing, grey ganking (even!), duoing... there's many many ways to play the game and have fun.
