Move to denmark and get Cyber City. They will rock your DAoC world :)

Isn't Goa part of wanadoo, which is owned by France Telecom? They are their ISP ...kinda..i think

There were a few circumstances today which indicated it wasn't completely ISP and/or internet traffic related problems. Have been in touch with GOA via Right Now and looking forward to a reply. Note: have never been let down yet by response from GOA tech support.

Personally I haven't suffered a single LD nor any lag over the passed couple of weeks. You guys should simply all move to Belgium, that would solve the LD problem at once!

BTW: we have the best beers in the world here too!!! :clap:

Its not ISPs in Denmark or Belgium that's got a problem, so moving wont do shit.
And you say CyberCity (Cybershitty?) is a great ISP?

Ok, so if i sell internet connections of some sort and you, the user, have to pay me (and i have to work with TDC 'cause they run the
phone network in the whole country and only their ppl can install Phone lines), you really think you get more from your money from me than directly from TDC?
That's plain stupidity! :p

Maybe if you are lucky :rolleyes: you pay less than TDC customers, but hey! Where do you think CC get the money from then?
I'll tell ya: They haven't got their own technicians and not enough supporters. So if something goes wrong and some hardware have to be fixed by a technician they call... guess who?? TDC! :p

And before im gonna let ppl get back to the real topic here..

DSL 512/512kb/s:
TDC = 475,- a month (575 and you get a Cisco 806 router with HUB) incl. access to more than 100 game servers.
CC = 595,- a month incl a Cisco 607 router

Why is it we have a couple of days of problems and people go right off the deep end. I haven't had any issues at all with lag or LDs since the weekend. Here's a newsflash for those screaming "OMFG u r teh sux GAO!!!" - things break, when they break they don't get fixed instantly, it takes time to work out what's broken and then to fix it. If you expect everything to be done instantly to suit you then you're going to be in for a lot of shocks in the real world.
TBH if they were my isp I wouldn't have bothered changing over this, because the effort of changing ISP is very large and the effort of waiting a not unreasonable amount of time for a fix is small. It's not like we had weeks and weeks of problems is it?

But your last reply is almost like someone laughing at me. I DO, however, think that when a problem like this dosn't get solved nor that us customers don't get an official reply something needs to be done to get some attention. So please stop saying that we "go off the deep end" when I, at least, have had this problem for at least a month.

In my book...all these threads that has popped up at least comfort me a bit when I think of all the lagdeaths I have managed to get me and others into when lagpulling or not being able to heal/taunt/whatever in time.

It did get solved (for the majority of people), we did get an official reply. If you've been suffering badly for a month it suggests it might well be a problem with your isp and / or the link between them and goa, the weekends problems were more of a goa thing as a large proportion of the population was affected.

It may have been solved for some people but since it's still there for alot of people I ain't so sure it's the majority.

It almost makes it worse when they say they have fixed it and ignore the rest of the people that still has problems. I know of several diffrent guys with diffrent ISPs that have this so it probably isn't their fault either.

Well i didt notice any increase in lag or ld's last week, i even got less lag than normal. Until yesterday when i got home from work, the game was totally unplayable, logged in my hunter in hagger ran to Svasud, outside svasud gates, where almost at fens when i got the message you have just been killed by a hill cat.

So i had about 2 min delay on what was happening, 2nd run i died again, went ld. Logged Faf, on ran to hmg, and thru it no lag that i noticed, when i spotted a luri as i looked behind me, ran back to try kill him, suiciding anyway. And you have just been killed by xxx about 2 min later i lay on the ground on mid side of the mg, among a zerg of hibs. The strange this is i had about 2 min delay on my actions, drawing weapons /emoting etc, but only about 5-10 sec delay on messages.

Hope we get an answer soon from Goa about whats happening. This cant be just patch lag.
