Thats bad, but its not just xbox near every game this month has scores like that, i know they mark alo of games down but this is getting crazy

ralisport is ace thou i dunno bout others.

btw edge dropped a bollock by giving GTA3 the wrong score (6/10) which which woz corrected following issue (8/10) wit an apology

the state of the mag has been in decline thou the colums and retro articles are good

Hmm is there a new console due out ? or has the Nuon had another game released for it ? Edge are usually completly up *insert name of latest fad*'s arse.

Edge's scores on games are always odd tho, they've given more than a few classics average scores. Its better for for really early previews and their articles on the industry, retro stuff and japan i think.

The GameCube is due out in just over a month, and I've noticed as well that Edge are a bit like that

edge covered the Nuon a while back its mainly going to be intergated wit set top dvd,sky,cabel boxes so its not gona come out as a console. check http://www.iamnotageek.com/cgi-bin/reviews.cgi?name=n2000&p=1 for an example

Dunno bout Onimusha but it does look samey.

Nuon will NEVER get mainstream support here. Edge sucks big time in even championing that lame duck system.

Rez is shit.


BTW, you can get Tempest (original version) on the GBA in the Atari Anniversary Collection.

what else is in the atari collection?

GBA needs double dragon 2 and nebulus...bombjack.... black lamp... teenage mutant ninja turtles... the list goes on

i went and re-read the edge review.... it is onimusha with knobs on... WHY like.

let's be honest tho... no set top box is going to take off here... it's not the place for it :/

Wolfeeh - yes you can save music to the hard-drive on the x-box, dunno if it saves it as mp3 tho, knowing MS its probably as WMA. Quite a novel feature as you can listen to you own music while playing your games, eg you could listen to the Beach Boys while playing Trans World Surf, if that sort of thing flicks your switch that is.

Either, waste time putting mp3s on your xbox hdd to listen to them out of shitty tv speakers...

or use your PC/hifi and listen to them fine?

Its hardly a novel feature to listen to music while playing a game ffs

Skyler, yes i have a hi-fi, and it probably sounds a million times better than yours.
And if you re-read my last message it says something like "whatever flicks your switch", meant to imply each to their own, some people may use this feature, personally i wouldn't, but some people may not want the (sometimes)crappy music that is played on some games and this will give them an alternative

it is wma format , no it wont convert mp3_> to wma and it dont take copyed cds yer will needs orignals also someone tried doing the latest celin dion cd on the x-box and it wouldnt do it due to the new copy protection
