Seems someone actually found a use for Confusion, so GOA immidiatly had to put an end to it. Imagine, they actually forbid ppl to use the tools given to them to win rofl.

Abusive use of the confusion spell during duels.

In some situations, it is possible to use a confusion spell on the pets of realm mates, which sometimes make them attack random monsters and friendly NPCs around, which is preventing other players from talking or interacting with the NPC.

This was sometimes used to disturb the game and to harass other players and this will now be considered as a violation of the Code of Conduct (harassment).
Therefore, please do not use any confusion spell on friendly pets in duels. We will take actions against players doing this to disturb how NPCs react.

Makes sense to me, if you want to use confusion in a duel just fight away from NPCs.

where are the times as Sufferance and me sat bored at Tir Uphorst and she found out that you can charm the stablemaster and as you released him the guards started whacking him. Sadly he lost the fight and so no horse was avail for hours from one of the most remote palces in Hibernia

Well....confusion makes mobs to attack random targets......mobs r npcs basically thats y works on them.....how the hell u can confuse another players????? r u gona confuse their minds through the net??? hehe.....

could work if you cast it on other players and it isnt resisted, thier target changes to a group member

If you use confuse on other pets they attack random or insta dies (Theugist pet), but how dos it work on a nec???

Would be fun to see a shade totaly helpless looking at his pet attackin his team m8s
