Yes. Funny as fuck. Especially the old "raise your piss bag" celebration.

I read somewhere that Combo will be making an appearance at some point. Hope so, I think Stephen Graham is quality

He was in the run up trailer adverts, so yes, he should be about!

Not watched yet, but it's on the list. The film was ace and this hasn't been rushed together, it actually adds a lot.

Fancied it, but was thinking you might need to watch the film first... true or false?

If you don't watch the film first much of what's happening will be lost to you.

Great so far, funny in parts but also pretty damn dark just like the film.

If your expecting something akin to Shameless, it's not. This is England this is real.

I'm looking forward to watching this. Made in England is a fantastic film, I'll never forget his line "I'm wearing these for a bet, what's your excuse?" :)

It could be called, 'This is Shameless '86'

Lacks the bite and tone of the film. Second episode was an improvement though.

I got curious and poked about for the movie and 2 episodes.

The movie is just so dark and gritty - and yes, child acting genius, as someone said.

The two episodes share the darkness, but they do come across as a bit more light-hearted than the movie.

Overall, very nice find, thanks guys.

It seems to be a slow build, quite like the films tbh, although spread over 4 odd hours the first couple of episodes were going to be all about character building, especially as they have to build back story for all the gang and make them less one dimensional. I suspect it's all going to get a bit hectic in the next one and explode in the final episode.

3rd episode was fantastic!

Says Combo will do something heroic in the last episode. Wonder what that will be......

I thought it was shit TBH. Can't see what the fuss is about. Its just another Shameless clone. And yes, I have seen the film, and no, I didn't think it was that memorable. Still, people seem to like it. People think Britain's Got Talent & the X Factor & Big Brother are awesome as well.

Maybe for you it's like that - I think it's brilliant. It's like a looking glass onto a former Britain, and the acting is really, really good.

(no, i don't think Britain's got Talent and X Factor are awesome)

It was good but I thought the finale was a bit of a letdown to be honest. The bits with Combo just made no fucking sense.
