lo folks.
The end is getting close.

NWN is out in a few days, and daoc is getting boring like hell... I was considering to immigrate to US very soon, but since NWN has gone gold, I will give that a try first. I will still be around for a few days, and I will still drop in every now and then as long as I still got time remaining on my account, but not as much anymore.

Im "dinging" 40 day playtime tonight, and thats alot of time spending on a char that I didnt even start out with.. but it's been fun mostly, and I like the community on the mmorpg scene (this was my first), alot more mature ppl around, thats nice.

I will try to get to rr4 before I stop playing im getting pretty close now, but I doubt I will get any further after that.

What bothers me the most is that GOA doesnt tell us anything, all I want is a few ETA's on the patches and some statements about the pvp server (which I think will rock, but I donno if I will return for it tho, depends on if I like NWN or ut2003) and future stuff..

ofc ther is some children around, as u see. those ppl will probably try the pvp server, and never reach 30+ before they run out of gold to pay for constitution, that I was looking forward to.

alot of those who are in to P&P AD&D stuff says this is THE game, and Im gonna try it out. I have no knowledge of p&p stuff at all, but thers no harm in trying out new games. Its worth a try imo, and what Ive seen so far, has impressed me.

khalen: would be nice ^^

edit:
its not a true mmorpg, since its "limited" down to multiple servers, but in some way its a mmorpg coz every1 can play with every1, just not all on 1 server at the same time.

NeverWinter Nights - RPG

Made by Bioware (same as Baldur's Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale etc.) They make the best RPG's in my opinion and so expect a lot of good things to come from NWN. I've seen long movies about the game, it's editor and how the system works. And frankly it looks rock solid to me.

Single player will rock but the multiplayer is going to completely dive into the fiery pits of hell!

Their style of MP didn't work in Vampire the Masquerade and I don't think it will work here either

ahh i see, yea i've heard of it. although if its anything like baldurs gate, or icewind dale, i'll hate it lol. those games sucked big time imo. but then again, any offline rpg pretty much sucks imo (the whole point of rpging is to play with other people, NPCs just dont give the same effect).

the only offline RPG i like is the fallout series, they rock :D

Sorry to see you go. But I agree with you that we get a bit too little information about patches etc. Sort of sucks. I`ve only played for 7 weeks or so, but unless people start showing up in emain, or some patches make the game more interesting, I`m gonna invest my time into WC3.

i played alot with you sub and i gotta say you're one of the coolest people in midgard and it sucks to see you go. i'm sure i'll see you around in other mmorpg's/servers and such.

my friends and myself are gonna get into nwn and probably start cool campaigns and shit like that, you're more than welcomed to join :)

bah, been waiting for NWN since november 2000 when a m8 pre-ordered it, they then said it would be out in the start of 2001 :rolleyes:
