Not much fun is true. It's a bit slow, which wouldn't, or should say isn't a bad thing, barr the fact every gun has the effect of a single shot kill. And it virtually imposable to miss because there's no recoil in the firearms, in fact get firearms instead much better mod, even if dod is a tad more polished.

Yes get it, its the best mod going, and yes i do play CS...alot in fact almost every night, but i play Dod almost every night as well and i think DoD is better and will get much better

Its only beta 1.3!

the next release beta 2.0 will have a recoil system for all the weapons so that will solve that problem and it will also have more classes

how did you work that out? God help you if you think being allies on Omaha and running up that god forsaken hill is 'fun'

no that is not fun, but i said DoD is fun, i never said anything about that one map!

yes there are bugs in the game and maps, but new maps are coming out all the time and as i said it can only get better

As i said its only BETA 1.3 for gods sake

I think Omaha is a very good and challenging map for Allies and I much prefer to play Allies on Omaha

I find DoD great FUN to play and very enjoyable. Just like other people find other Half-Life Mods fun

Omaha is a top map, it's not supposed to be even. It's a pain in the ass getting up on to the hill, but as soon as you *have* got up there, you can clear out the snipers keeping people pinned down on the beach.

Ya just got to play it right

I don't like it. It's slow and repetetive and most of the map's are rubbish. Omaha is ok for a while, but after the 50th time you respawn and get shot in the head straight away it gets :sleeping:

it's strange that you talk about dod like a new fangled mod, yes it's newish, but it's the 3rd most played halflife mod, it isn't anything small.

if you wanna try a small more unconventional mod try the iopera or soemthing, hell, play sven coop it owns,

The worst thing about DoD - the TK'ing llamas that infest all of the FF on servers... and DoD is boring with FF off
