Morning folks. I forgot to go to bed and during the slow hours I ran across some friar spec ideas while looking through advice on RA's. Also the "Friars" thread on here got me thinking about some stuff.
My current spec is 48 enh / 39 sta / 21 rej / 8 par and I'm a ml6 perfecter.
I don't wanna make any big changes, I really just want rejuv to 25 (or 33, more on that later) for a better heal...it's not till now that I realize that the spec line heal is better even though it says it heals for way lower than the baseline heal. Mainly because I'm a helpless newb.
So there's a couple ways to go about it:
1) 46 enh / 39 sta / 25 rej / 8 par
I lose the top cold group resist buff and the top selfhaste buff (I lose 6%). Rest is the same.
2) 49 enh / 34 sta / 25 rej / 12 par
Go full out enhance and get the top matter group resist buff. Lower staff to 34. I never really use the 39 bleed style (it's chained after a counter evade. I never get it off). Of course that will mean lower damage. A bit higher parry as a bonus.
3) 45 enh / 34 sta / 33 rej / 8 par
This seems like an exciting spec.
Cons: I only get the middle group resist buffs, lose top selfhaste buff, drop a bit in damage and lose that 39 evade chain bleed style.
Pros(?): 33 in rej lets me reach the next spec line heal and will (hopefully!) make me a healing force to be reckoned with in RvR. Of course, I'll still primarily be a secondary healer (what?), but a better one.
Question is, is it worth the drop in damage and res buffs? I'm thinking in the lanes of mainly RvR. I'm a perfecter at the moment, but am strongly considering respeccing to Battlemaster when I reach ml8.
As you might be able to tell I'm quite keen on the third spec, but those res buffs might be too important.
Give me your opinions. I know you have them.
