thief on xbox runs like crap!

purchased theif today. played it and notice a lot of tearing in the graphics and awful framerate. now when i shoot arrows, it freezes for half a second and then continues! the disk is clean, my xbox has no probs with any other games. is this a common problem? its like trying to run it on an underspecd PC. thought the xbox would get rid of probs with having not top notch PC and let me play games smoothly

I've heard about this problem. It's one of the many issues that the game has had due to being produced for two platforms at the same time. Problems were found with both the PC and Xbox versions of the game due to it. Looks like the Xbox got the ugly side of most of them though, you'd probably be better off buying the PC version.
