I like Gaheris. People are so nice, I like the kick-backed atmosphere. It really comes down to this though.

My favorite toon is the friar. MY favorite toon is almost worthless in RVR. Especially on a server where 99.9% of groups have no idea how much 24% less on heat and cold dmg is when nukers are hitting for 6-800 all the live long day. Gaheris I get 30 free RA spec points. More people are arti-hunting and willing to help/group in general. So it is easier to get a lot of loot, good RA's at level 50 and you really get to see your class's potential. You always have Darkness Falls, you can go to Hib Land or Mid Land and look around, which is nice if you ever plan on rolling a different realm later. Oh yeah, did I mention 140 possible RA spec points. Plus you can buy your realm points if you just don't feel like RVRing. All of which makes it kinda very cool.

I just got bored of RVR. Even with my minstrel. Soloing RVR is a grind to me to a large extent. Plus, my 50's are still there if I get bored and want to RVR.

BTW, since that post I did make a friar. He is level 34 and my Reaver is 27. Heheh. Going extreme damage for both with their specs. My reaver will be SR and my friar will be 50staff/35Enh/18Rej/16Parry.


You just got to do what you find fun and call me crazy, I like PVE. I actually enjoy it and I look forward to getting my friar as pimpified as possible.

That atleast is part of the 'population balancing' patch (1.72 - I think...), to make it easier for people to get right to the 'endgame' you do - however - need to have earn 1 level the normal way in order to get the free level. (i.e. Your lvl26, you do nothing all week - you won't get lvl27 simply for logging in)

As for buying RP, i've never heard of that one. Sounds a little suspect imo, but then again isn't Gaheris the PvE server? I don't really understand it - but it does sound kind of silly you can 'buy' realm points

to the original post.. i think you dont buy rp's you CAN buy some form of seal ppl get from farming keeps on the co-op server but they will prolly be expensive or summet and if you dont buy them youre a douche bag

but then again i could be wrong

from what ive read somewhere ppl leave a bot in a keep to see when the guards pop then farm it and sell em for daft prices leaving it difficult to get your grubby mits on them unless your in the farming crowd or rich
