As an air theurg I find it immensely amusing to press F8, /face, /nuke until the bar in the lower rightcorner dissapears and RP come rolling in. Repeat till ure dead or there are no more enemies.
With mezz I can solo just about anything that I get the drop on (unless they got purge).
Im not saying my class is perfect or uber. It certainly has issues, but that thread is a bit over the top imo.
OKOK its tuff being the first to go down every battle, but I suspect thats a matter of playstyle and experience

As a light menta it is nice to select a target press /face and stun then nuke it to hell and back.

Have to say LOL at people whining about spirit resists... would they prefer cold (like a lot of eldritches / RMs) the uber resist.

Ye i prefer the spirit, lots of ppl got crap spirit resists (I just come from a battle where i DD'ed some yellow con tank for 467 several times so im happy )

Yep, Theurgists are ok - theres just lots of bitter ones around... like the Paladins-are-gimp brigade on VN, that think Paladins should do the same damage as armsmen (plus have the chants of course...)

Theurg earth and ice spec could do with some looking at... and the mezz should really be range 1500 to be the same as eldritch... but they're really not bad at all

Theurgist is so funny class, only played it on the US PvP but there the stun pets sure kick ass, casue chain stunning from the pets work, just gotta luv it
