As the topic says im looking for good theurg templates so if u have one and wanna share plz do :p

on GF's comp atm so havnt got my template @ me... just use normal caster template gov, ms, tart, cb, AT/charm/golm, CS, ebon hide, immo ring... i use belt of moirai / band of shadow's, u can use torrent ring/ woven hair of malamis aswell, and just fizzel around with SC abit...

i tried that myself, but they just arnt capping what a theurg wants (depending on spec, i guess) but as i mainly use earth pets, i would rather have spell duration capped then spell damage :)'

pretty hard to find decent gear with + spell dur, got any tips?

ofc 25% more duration is better than without it.
but compare to other stats/resist/ability, spell duration is the last thing u consider when u make template for theurgist

Unless you want your pets to last without having to spec MOC 3...
Not everyone uses the theurgist class as a pure nuker.

earth pet + 25% spell duration gives 75 seconds
under moc 1 is 18.75 second which gives 3.75 extre precious seconds.
air pets + 25% spell duration gives 25 seconds
under moc 1 is 6.25 second which gives 1.25 extre precious seconds

unless you want to specc moc 3 to use 3/4 of the 25% spell duration bonus
trying to cap 25% spell duration in ur template would be almost neglectable.

in rvr support class get rid of the pets by bg from tank , melee by themselves , nuke from caster, spell duration certainly won't change anything against these methods. altho it's useful for keep door ganking if that's what you want.

Sure enough your observations are true but I can only say that if I wanted
to use pets I would want them to last as long as possible.
Even though spell duration under MOC 1 is only useful for the earth thuggy.

But I must say the pets are really nice to have in RvR since they can
interrupt and kill enemy supportclasses Not everyone has enough support to
handle the pets if you got a good earth theurgist with you.
(one that manages to put pets on the entire enemy grp) :D
