just got and isntall mine. lcd is a tad pointless but looks kewl none the less

got mine on the other week, pretty good really.

LCD is handy in XBMC for films and movies etc.

Hmm, think I have an old X3+lcd kit sat around at home. Too lazy to do anything with it. :-o

im not too sure why but i did 2 of my xboxes the one in the pic is 1.0 one and the lid was pain in the arse to fit back. they other it fitted fine.

one thing that did get me, it comes with no instructions wot so ever. and ive yet to figure out wat that red button on the left above the blue X3 logo is for.

oh and the usb ports dont werk in games. just xmbc, evox avaluncher etc.

Is the red button for disabling/reanabling your chip. Just a guess.

The button is for flash protection. Stops u flashing the bios by accident. If its green its protected and red is un protected.

to disable the chip u hold the power button when turning the xbox on instead of tapping it

oh thanx for that mate have been using mine with the switch to red thinking thats protected mode.

now to find a suitable usb small usb keyboard for it shame you cant get happy hacker keyboards in usb wireless form
