The value of money in WoW

Havent started playing the game yet ( fecking slow download on the client goddamnit ) but i was wondering if the money system compares with daoc at all, in other words, can you buy a similar amount of stuff for 1gp in WoW as you can in DAoC?

Anyone already playing the beta ( damn you ) care to enlighten me?

well i have been playing for some hours are lvl 8 atm have gotten total maby 20 silver so far
i dont buy much most things you get from mobs or quests
food,drinks,armor

but later on you will need money too buy a horse,more backpacks,magic items and so on

Pretty much like when u first started in daoc, except u make cash faster if u quest alot

Unlike daoc however they try to prevent people from stocking up loads of gold.
