A US battle cruiser is out at sea when the radar man reports an unknown contact on collision course with the cruiser. So the captain gets on the radio and goes.
"Calling unidentified vessel. Please divert course 15 degrees west to avoid collision."
The response: "Negative, advise *you* divert course 15 degrees west to avoid collision"
Captain: "This is battle cruiser USS Soandso. We are aboard a large vessel that may have problems turning quickly. Divert course NOW!"
And the reply:
"This is a lighthouse....your call"
