I've seen the beginning. Now I've set my alarm for the end in just under 6 hours.

Ah, so Venus orbits the Earth more closely than the Sun does. Is it really only as big as a marble?

I watched some of this streamed from the Hawaiin observatory for a wee bit last night. It was interesting listening to the astronomers chattering away like they were at the best rock gig in the history of rock gigs. Quite sweet really. Bless 'em.

yeah I listened in for a while. after a while you just want to hug the dysfunctional sky-nerds :D

No, it's just another hole in the sky like all the other dots.
