I played it on the PC and disliked it.

I'm playing it on the PS2 and am quite enjoying it. I tend to find that 3rd person action/adventures are more enjoyable on a console than on a PC. Even if it is £15 dearer for lesser graphics.

I love the new/old Resident Evil on the GameCube. I agree they should have updated the control style to a more Silent Hill 2 one, but it isn't the complete remake of the Playstation version that I thought it would be.

They even got me to jump at those damn dogs again

i have the xbox version of the thing, and i would agree, it's a top game... very atmospheric, shining example of the survival horror genre, and i'm sure there's a way to turn auto aim off.
