Has anyone had the chance to sample this lovely new album?

Stand out tracks for me are Reptilia and Meet me in the bathroom, a few tracks that dont do much for me but overall a lovely follow up to a fantastic debut album.

It certainly is a very good album, and like the first one will probably grow on me massively

/me dumps on his mp3 player

i bought the album today, It's quite good (so far). I may change my mind though cos bits of it sound RHCP which is NOT a good thing.

What i mean is, RHCP aim for the HEART with their meaningless drivel(and so, fail. It sounds said, but means fuck all)

The strokes almost-meaningless-drawl is hopefully, just rock n roll, a few nice and sweet lyrics(like RHCP), but the aim firmly on your ass, and the shaking of it, or something.

If i decide otherwise, I'll trade it for a Felt record or something.

Still some rather nice songs, for rock n rolls sake, they're still good.

They are just lovely little bouncy tunes. I wasnt expecting anything else and i will be buying it as its a decent record like the first one.

RHCP? I really dont like them so i really have to disagree, they kinda remind me really hard of the stooges (who i love).

Yeah, it's a good wee rock n roll album. Some major rip offs in places, but they make it sound their own.

There are bits in each song that are just superb, ones you want to play over and over.

YES i can! Song: The end has no end

but my faves at the moment are Between Love & Hate, Under Control and That's The Way It is, oh and 12:51. Although they're all pretty good. The drums in Under Control are ace.

Under control is very very reggae vocally, i think. Reminds me of Peter Tosh a bit.
