What sounds or mental images of things can't you stand ?

Eg.

* Someone scraping their nails down a slate black board

* The thought of eating a large spoonful of granulated white sugar

* Scraping metal cutlery against your teeth

I can't stand the thought of eating a banana... Its the texture of it.... /shiver

My uncle has a weird one though.. he can't stand someone teasing a cotton wool ball... Like pulling and stretching it... He says it makes him feel sick!

I got one of those toothbrushes with the rubber bit you use to clean your tongue, and it just made me shiver every time that rubber bit touched my teeth.

Sometimes when I eat eggs I get all sick thinking about eating a baby chicken, it actually makes me put the food down tis weird.

I find the smell of Parmesan cheese offensive. To me it smells of fresh puke.

And those mini frozen chicken kievs. When you cut them open and the sauce pours out, it reminds me of someone slicing open a giant pus-filled zit. Bleugh !

I feel the exact same thing, I can only eat scrambled egg cos it freaks me out if its gooey...

For ages fish food used to freak me out until I went abroad and realised it was just the rubbish the UK sell that tastes like crap

Apart from the usual stuff like scratching on a chalkboard and the already mentioned aluminium-foil-meets-teeth-agony, I hate the noise of the driller of a dentist. And the noise of a vacuum cleaner.
Also, I can´t stand the feeling of scratching certain surfaces with my nails, for example the paint on a car. Don´t know what it is, maybe the frequency of the vibration.

there was a stage in my life when i wasnt eating so well and everynow and then i had to actually eat 2-3 desert spoonfulls of granulated sugar to stop myself from feeling ill and dizzy. mmmm thems were the days!

the texture of mince-beef etc revolt me, make me feel ill and sick. horrid stuff. just the texture though, gimme a burger/steak etc any day of the week.
