Portugal vs France & Germany vs Italy

thoughts ?

well here are mine, If France play like they did today i think they'll go though to the final, however they will be facing a better midfield than they did today vs brasil and with deco back for portugal well ? will be interesting imo. As for the other Semi I'm hoping Germany, but something tells me it will be Italy. So Educated Guess says France v Italy in the final.

Portugal - France

Half of the POR team is "yellowed" already, which could be an important psychological factor. No player wants to miss the final due to 2nd card. This could be an advantage for France. In addition, the french players might get another motivation boost because it´s Zidanes last WC and they really want to give their "great old one" the title as a goodbye pressie. My prediction: 2:0 FRA.

Germany - Italy

Italys performance so far hasn´t been too exciting. Draw against USA, the "win" against AUS, a 3:0 against a sub par Ukrainian team that shouldn´t have made it that far in the first place. Italys psychological plus is the 4:1 against GER from the preparation matches.
The german team on the other hand has a huge crowd behind them. We´re already further than expected by most people, so there´s no pressure from that side. In adition, Klose/Podolski are now a pretty decent forward duo. If GER manages to score early in the game, they´re having a very good chance to beat ITA. My prediciotn here 1:0 GER.

I think germany will win...but not so sure this wc tbh FRance looked shaky in beginning but seems better now with recent wins etc. But germany looks very strong atm and as host nation etc its gonna be tough to beat them. Hope for zidane France wins though as he always been one of my all time favvo players...seems quite modest and have such incredible controle in all he does
