Lo guys, just wanted to know this: In what way is The Rock (starring Dwayne Johnson) related to The Mummy? I haven't gotten the chance to see The Rock yet, but was just interested in which way/level it is like The mummy, are there any referals to The Mummy,...

Dwayne Johnson is The Rock imdb info

it is/was the name he wrestled under whilst in the WWE (formerly the WWF)

There is a film called The Rock but that stars Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery & Ed Harris

The Rock (Dwayne) stars in The Scorpion King, which is a spinoff of The Mummy.

oops ye, it's called The Scorpion King, not just 'The Rock' , remember now. So it's a spinoff you say? Does it refer in any way to the mummy? Or are any of The Mummy characters involved or mentioned? Or is it basically just during that time that the Scorpian KIng lives, without any connection but the timeline?

In otherwords don't waste your money on it. It really is for retards and small children who don't know any better.

I know I'm not much help but that's the way it is.

Funny bit of trivia nicked directly from imdb. The Scorpion King is a prequel to a sequel of a movie that is a remake of another movie made over 70 years ago :)

And yes it's quite poor, though Kelly Hu in skimpy clothing is never a bad thing ;)
