The Respec stone

I have my lvl 45 NS Allrab Est, wich is most dear to me, I have thought out what my spec should be and Im quite satisfied with it, ok I will tell you...

• Envenom 25
• Stealth 35
• Celtic Dual 25
• Critical Strike 39
• Piercing 50

This spec requires that I autotrain my stealth to lvl 48 and get 77 extra points. Wich will make this spec template exelent. feel free to look it up on Daoc.Catacombs character builder.

Now to my dillemma.. I did press the button one extra time at lvl 40 and bought by mistake Critical Strike to lvl 40 wich ofcourse screwed my nice template up.
As I said Im now lvl 45 and wish to correct my misstake so I have bought myself a Luminecent Exerpise Stone or a Respec all stone. So what is the best solution to this ?

1. If is use the Stone now will I get my autotrain back on track after lvl 45?
2. Shall I wait until after level 48 so i can get all of the extra 77 ponts ?
3. If I respec all now will I lose the last 12 points?
4. If I respec do I have to buy back the Stealth stat to lvl 11 ?

1). your stealth will be unaffected and stay on 9 or whatever it is now.
2). makes no difference, just dont spec stealth b4 48.
3). Nope.
4). Nope.

Now im not 100% on these, I have never respecced my ranger so I dont know these for a fact, but they are the answers I have recieved when asking the same question.

Bascially as long as you dont spec stealth before 48 you cant mess up / lose your autotrain points.

I would love to get a confirmation on this. not 100% makes me unsure, I do not want to loose my Autolevel, And If I loose it when trying I will be your Mr leech in Fin's Boni because then I would have to remake Allrab .

imo wait for the respec stone that comes from NF and save your stone for a rainey day as the stones will be harder to get soon

I did not know we would get a free respec stone in NF when It is released. Sounds great but is not the respec stone just for Realm skills?

Anyway I would like to get a confirmation on Boni's statement because I don't want to wait more than I have to, And the main point is, Will I loose my Autotrain and/or how will I keep it. Maybe an explenation or so would calm me down a bit...

In NF there will be merchants selling both RA respec stones and full skill respec stones for ~10s per stone.

I'm not entirely certain how it works, but if it was me, I'd certainly wait until 48+ to make sure nothing happened with the autotrained points.

afaik using a full respec stone will use those points for you and put them in stealth for you so using a full respec would screw up your autotrain AFAIK. i have a few single respec stones in my vault BUT my account is unactivated and i dont play anymore

I respected several times my NS without lose my 77 autotrained points, and for what i ear NF stones (10s) will remove ur autotrained points.

Could anyone trade me a singleline respec stone please, Ill offer a multi respec stone for single. I need to fix my Spec as fast as possible and I no longer know what is the truth to all this respec talk.

Ok I think I misunderstood what you meant in the beginning. If you respec, you will keep your autotrained points, but from you respec you wont autotrain anymore. So if you have full autotrain at lvl 48 and respec, you wont lose your points, but if you have autotrain up until lvl 45 (don't remember which lvls you autotrain specifically), you'll keep the points you have so far, but wont get the last up until 48.

This is how I've been told it is.. hope it can help anyone ^^

Phew thank you m8. You are a lifesaver. I take DAoC way to serously. It is every 4th lvl from lvl 12 that autotrain kicks in so my last autotrain will be at lvl 48 and at that point I will have 77 points extra to dispose.
Ill respec all after that then I suppose :worthy:

in usa we got just 1 /respec skill after NF came, but we had infinite /respec realm till a certain date... i guess goa will do the same as mythic

i think the best thing for you is wait to get lvl 48 and for NF to be up on excalibur, so then you'll be able to respec without losing autotrain and keep the /realm respec stone for some time later or maybe sell it when it's value will raise

Im going to use the respecstone as soon as im lvl 48, even if NF has come or not, Because I do not want to risk. that my autolevels will dissapear on me. Someone suggested that earlier...

I am not goint to take any risks, that is why Im at this forum to ask you all, and see if anyone has the experience and knowledge of this...

you can check the vn boards, but i'm sure you won't lose your autotrain points once you get them... even if you manage to drop a respec skill stone from a tree, they all work the same way... but if you wanna lose some plats to be 190% sure, that's your choice
