Jack Nicholson and shit loads of cameo appearances by some big names....

I watched this out of the blue at a friends house about a month ago. Bought it next day, v good film, top performance from Nicholson not his usual flash a grin and drawl through the film job.

Nah Jack plays a retiring detective who is convinced he's onto a serial killer (but nobody else agrees). Its pretty disturbing stuff, and keeps you wondering whats gonna happen right up to the end.

Well worth watching.

I have to disagree, I found the film a bit long and was really really unconvinced of how a veteran cop on retirement could become obsessed to the point of losing his judgement. I thought it was beautifully shot mind you. I prefered him in about schmidt. Now there's a good Nicholsen film.
