Heh - naming no names I bumped into a guy who had twinked his level 16 stealther with a set of SC gear with a total of +7 stealth

I think some people need to learn their caps...

Because at level 16 on your first char you knew all your caps?

I don't know any caps of characters at any levels, I've never really tried to be mr oobergeek know-it-all when it comes to games. It's best to play more for fun than anything really, no need to memorize every stat in the game.

i'd have thought the greater danger of spellcrafting is the chance of blowing yourself up.... managed to do that earlier

Well maybe he made a nice orange/red con suit , he could use for later allso ??? , at 24 his cap would be 24/5+1 = 5 , so if its orange or even red con it might last him until he is lvl 30 . So he might be over cap , not like its gonna hurt him , if he has the rest of the skills and stats max'd any ways

I only bothered learning the caps when I hit 50 and needed to get the most out of my character, at level 16 I certainly didnt know what they were, but then I didnt have access to equipment that was likely to take me past them either

Anyway, I think the person spellcrafting the suit of armour for them should of at least pointed out the caps to them, especially as they are all stated in the SC documentation.

secondly an armsman wanted + char on his breastplate!

for record on my char i put couple points in char thinking it might be like other games where u need bit of everything. didnt put many so not to bad. as for caping never even looked. i got wep thats good as i can get and same with armour not even looked at caps on that.

Anyways, nerf spellcrafting

My RR1,7 level 30 friar have +7 enc/parry/ +6staff and +5 parry
And still i have at least two items with +10 to four other main stats (con/piety/dex/quick..)

Sigh

this costed me 33g..

Now tell me why i would get a drop D
