The Patch sucks

Well I have come to the conclusion that this new patch is a waste of disk space. The only noticeable change I have seen is that you die more easily.

Today I have played on 4 different servers and have found that 50% of all shots kill you and let your vehicle survive.

Examples
1) I was shot dead in my plane 6 times, the result was watching my perfectly healthy plane plummet to the ground with no pilot.

2) I was killed while driving my tank (the tank survived) quite how the tank can survive and I can't amazes me, someone on the server replied "the tank has amour you don't" my reply was "yeah well I was IN the Armoured tank"

3) People on your team crash into you and die and it says "[G]adams901 has killed a team-mate" WTF I didn't kill anyone, the stupid fucks are driving into me.

and what also pisses me off is the fact that a small bump in the road can take health of your tank, well forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't tanks supposed to be able to smash through buildings?, my damn tanks explode if I drive into a wooden fence, this game is ruined by the stupidity of the vehicle damage.

1. IRL during WW2 a good number of pilots were killed before their planes got shot to shit, in that way I guess it is more realistic even if slightly annoying.

2. Strange, perhaps a slight glitch.

3. It happens again a slight glitch effect.

Again IRL tank tracks are susceptible to damage from various surfaces, for example even now tank tracks get considerable damage while travelling on roads etc.

Overall I love the patch, shame it hasn't done shit to make BW servers more popular.

tbh the pros outweigh the cons now.

I have found the patch to be wonderful and it has given me a new love for the game.

No, this is cool, in the past I have often sniped the airfield and it was frustrating to target the cockpit and not get through the "bulletproof" glass

As Embattle said, this is more realistic as WW2 planes did not have armour as such. Even machineguns should have a reasonable chance of hitting a pilot of a low flying plane.

Planes are already overpowered in the game with a very unrealistic flight model and an almost endless supply of bombs, if they get made the more vulnerable then I don't see that as a problem.

Again this is more realistic, the HEAP and HEAT rounds were developed in WW2 by this stage and did considerable damage to the inside of the tank if they penetrated the armour, this is also a good cludge for the repair point whores, you can fix your tank but you have to get out to fix yourself

1.2 is probably the most effective patch I have ever seen on any game. Ever. the bloody thing works now, where it simply didnt before .

Since the patch I have found myself wanting to play on public servers MORE than bw ones cos the pings are fine now on publics, I get like a 30 ping on 50 player servers so the only incentive to play on bw is cos there are no noobs on it
