When a group member is in another zone, his RP share is divided among those in same zone, so if you have a 8 person group and kill a 500 rp reward kill (Camlann system is different than normal RvR) and only 1 in the zone, well, thats 8 x 500 RP for 1 person = 4000 RP's...

4000 is alot but i noticed some weird things. on alot of kills i get the main rp....lets say 900 and then an additional 200 for some reason. but then i get about 4 nmore lots of rp. like the following

you get 900 rp
you get 200 rp
you get 20 rp
you get 8 rp

for some reason it givies you the rp's in a weird way but even so 4000rp is a huge amount. like skold mentioned if you look its 2 ppl in the group.

Your math is flawed, however you are right that someone in another zone, gets his share divided inbetween those in the killing zone. However! If we say that it's a 8 people group, the rp/kill is 115 for a lvl 50 rr2l0 and then there's a 12.5% bonus for each group member (above the first?), for a total of ~216 rp/kill (7*12.5% rp bonus).

So basically, say if 7 people is in the killing zone and one is in another, from a rr2l0, each would get:

( 920 rp / 7 people ) * 1.875 rp bonus = ~246 rp

If there's 1 person in the killing zone and 7 in another, with a rr2l0 kill, you'd gain:

( 920 rp / 1 people ) * 1.875 rp bonus = 1725 rp

And then, ofcourse, other types of rp bonusses (outpost/claims/conquer in case of rvr server, and rp bonus items like Snatcher) is on top of this number.

In other words, it's impossibly to "cheat" yourself to that 4000 rp figure showned in the screenshot by group size, it's either been a bug or he's good at editing pictures

aya... you kill some dude, and it only says he dies... then later you out of nothing get full rps for the kill, happend quite some times for me

someone i spoke to says the most you can get from one kill is 1800 which pretty much matches what you said shrye.

the picture is good quality and their is no problems with the pasting over of the image as its all alligned but i reckon it was a bug where he got say 1000 rp but it displayed it incorrectly.

if you read the text mazisn states a question to whch amildin answers. now if amildin stated his rp before mazins first question then it blows my theory out the water BUT....maz says wru and ami answers

maz then says omg 4046 rp so either he got this as well which means 1 bug on 2 chars...not gona happen.....it was a setup and he was told to say that.....or i missed something and now you gonna make me look silly lol.

sorry amildin but its way too high its near 5k rp when you add it all up
