anyone else who grew up in the 80s loved this series?

according to wikipedia The Mysterious Cities of Gold (film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) a new film based on the series is not far off

Give me a big list of all the kids tv shows that were on in the uk from late-80s to mid-90s and I will sit and read until I get beaten up for smelling too bad and scaring people :-(

aye meg jayce and the wheeled warriors was ace. shame there arnt a dvd set for it tho. think they did try and make a film of it in the 90s do remeber reading about it in film review or empire

HOWEVER!!! How can anyone forget the first manga ever adapted for UK TV, edited to hell with all the sex and violence cut out and hacked up so badly they had to create a R2-D2 type robot and paste it in as a narrator to make the story even barely coherent
