The mystery of Anatolus Ap Anniogel.

It seems that on top of Merlin's Tower a new resident has arrived who goes by the name of Anatolus Ap Anniogel.
After a small chat with this mysterious figure and after helping him find his lost staff he asked our help to retrieve something for him.

So in order to help this poor guy we took our group out to try and find this item.
Apparently some Drakorans took an Astrolabe that he needed so we went out to find it. After searching the towers in Avalon City we decided to search in the Library. It took us a lot of running around and searching but we were finally able to locate the fiend holding the item and managed to slay the Drakoran Oracle.
This wasn't an easy task and presented quite a challenge for our small group but we managed to do it and retrieve the Astrolabe

After returning the item to Anatolus he rewarded us for our services and told us to watch for the heralds since he might need help again soon...

We had great fun doing this small GOA quest so I decided to post this little story about what happened in case Anatolus decides to give other adventurers a task in the future since after all he did mention he might need help again soon.

Aaah, so that's where you can find an Astrolabe.. I got the first 2 items he wanted sorted in about an hour work, but I spend several hours last night farming the AC entrance drakorans hoping to get it and all this time it was in Avalon City.. Oh well, the 320 gold was nice for my little level 35 pally ^^

Just out of curiosity, what was that great reward he was talking about when you returned the astrolabe?

Our cleric handed in the Astrolabe and he received 10 level 40 power potions.

Make sure you keep checking back with him as yes he is going to need more help and it isn't going to be to long before he needs it.
